Contact Note is a brief written announcement given by an agent (such as a factor or broker) to a principal stating that the agent has bought or sold a certain amount of merchandise or securities on the principal's behalf at the terms specified.
The current format of the new contract note notification email is:
Dear [salutation],
You have new contract notes available for trades which have been placed today on your [GIA/ISA/SIPP] account, [account name]. You can log in to view these contract notes on your online account.
For any queries relating to these contract notes, please contact your [investment manager/financial adviser] [owner name] on [owner telephone] or by email at [owner email].

Contract note sending can be enabled as a once-a-day email to clients with a list of all trades performed on their account, with a link to the online client portal for them to download the contract notes. The client’s financial adviser and/or investment manager is automatically CC’d into the email.
