Requirements:
- Access to the client platform
- Asset name
- International Securities Identification Number (ISIN)
What is market value?
Market value is the price an asset or a company is worth on the financial market. It is calculated in the system as [number of shares] * [current price]
Where does a market value come from?
Market value can be;
- imported from sources such as IB etc.
- automated
- and manually updated by the clients
In the Main Menu, navigate to 'Market Data'.

You can see these fields in Market data including asset name, ISIN and ticker.

- Search for the asset name or ISIN. To know more about ISIN.

- Click for the asset name

- Under Overview, go to 'Update Prices'.

- The right pane shows the asset price (bid) delivered for each date by the source.
In the example below, the latest price is £19.15 on July 13 from source IB.

What you need to do: Check the asset price and confirm from which source the price come from.
- If the source is IB, check the IB report to validate if there is price retrieved for the asset. If none, possibly because there is an error.

- If the Market Data shows 'No prices have been added for this asset yet.' This means that no price provided for that asset.
